Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic BI Team Lead with 6–8 years of hands-on expertise in tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Databricks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities, prior experience in BI production support, and proven leadership skills to manage and mentor a team. Familiarity with ITIL processes and flexibility to work in rotational shifts is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of BI developers and analysts to deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.

  • Oversee day-to-day BI production support, ensuring incident SLAs and response timelines are met.

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize deliverables.

  • Manage and optimize data visualization/reporting using Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Databricks.

  • Implement ITIL best practices in incident, change, and problem management.

  • Monitor BI platforms proactively and resolve system performance issues and downtimes.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including SOPs and RCA reports.

  • Coordinate shift-based support and ensure smooth handovers between shifts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

  • 6–8 years of experience in Business Intelligence, with hands-on expertise in:

    • Power BI – 6 years

    • Tableau – 3 years

    • Azure / Azure Databricks – 3 years / 2 years

    • Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query – 2 years each

  • At least 2 years in a leadership role managing a BI development or support team.

  • Strong understanding of BI production environments and root cause analysis.

  • Exposure to Azure services, data lakes, and pipelines.

  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and working in ITIL-compliant environments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to work in rotational or night shifts as required.

Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have):

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

  • Tableau Desktop Specialist / Certified Professional

  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals / Azure Data Engineer

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
